My name is W. Pearl McCullough and I am Black Family Development’s (BFDI) School-Based Clinician at Ecorse High School. With BFDI’s partnership I am able to provide additional supportive services to youth and their families who maybe experiencing life’s stressors in a way that is keeping them from being their best. Some of our preventative services to youth, family, and staff include:
- Conflict Resolution and Anger Management Skill Development
- Life Skills Workshops
- College Preparation Activities
- Case Management
- Advocacy and Education Workshops for Parents
- Professional Development Workshops for Staff
- Academic Monitoring
- Positive Youth and Family Development Activities
- Crisis Intervention
- Support Group/Individual Counseling
- Mental Health Screenings
For those who feel they need additional supports and services, BFDI is able to provide community mental health services (Medicaid eligible) and/or link families to additional services.
